Thank you Mitch. I thank God for you and others who share their voices about these things. I have asked these types of questions on my Facebook pages and rarely do I get answers. People are afraid to speak up, which is frightening itself. How can any thinking person not see this ?
The challenge is that Trump supporters identify with Trump for his power and wealth. They believe his lies and are totally brainwashed like a cult. I see it in my own family and I am still in shock. We are having not only a constitutional crisis but a moral crisis. It's now so easy to see how the German people were enthralled with Hitler obviously -.many were not, and there was resistance., but too many people remained silent. We must all ask these questions and speak out. I'm grateful to you for always expressing and articulating what I'm feeling and thinking-
Everyday there are more and more of us speaking out and taking action. His days are numbered. MAGA’s days are numbered. It’s not going to be easy and it’s going to take time but we got this.
I have asked similar questions on LinkedIn. Challenging people. Asking where is the level of engagement? Do we care anymore or have we settled into the comfortable of accepting authoritarian government and Trump as the dictator. Especially when it is so obvious he does not know what he is doing. Other than enriching himself, his family and his cronies at the people's expense.
Right? I really appreciate your comment, Lawrence. Too many people are getting way too comfortable with what’s becoming the new norm, and it’s not OK. This isn’t something we can afford to normalize. We’ve got to stay awake, stay loud, and push back.
