UPDATE: Please also see my updated post arguing Judge Hannah Dugan is not guilty of any crime, and the charges against her should be dismissed immediately.
The lawyer in me needs to know more details. But my best guess is that she's been getting under their skin (recent related events) and this is all politically motivated and legal overkill. Any thoughts to why Patel deleted his tweet?
What is your take on the process based on the warrant? Should the victims have been heard, and would they be deported? Why did the judge not hear the case? Was the arrest handled appropriately? As Trump has been threatening to remove judges who disagree with him, should the media have waited before reporting so as not to misinform the public?
Here's the complaint. The judge had the man and his lawyer enter a public hallway. Agents saw them and for whatever reason, decided not to effectuate the arrest (see paragraph 33). What's the issue? https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.wied.111629/gov.uscourts.wied.111629.1.0.pdf
This is insanity.
It is. I want to know more of the facts and details but it's probably the start of more harassment and arrest.
Shocking and wrong. It is only the beginning…
