About Uncensored Objection
Welcome to Uncensored Objection, where the Constitution matters, truth still counts, and silence is not an option. I’m Mitch Jackson, trial lawyer by trade, unapologetic truth-teller by choice. This is where I connect the legal dots, call out the political gaslighting, and write with clarity about what’s really at stake in America.
While we shared a bit of this song above, here’s the full version that reflects the mood, the attitude, and the mission of Uncensored Objection. A defiant stand for truth, law, and democracy in a time when silence is complicity and words are our weapon.
If you’re tired of the noise, the spin, and the slow erosion of democratic values, you’re in the right place. I don’t do performative outrage. I do facts, law, and unapologetic conviction. Subscribe if you're ready to fight back, with words that carry weight and ideas that demand accountability.

More about Mitch Jackson
Mitch has opinions. (Plenty of them.) You’ve probably noticed that if you’ve spent even five minutes at Uncensored Objection. But context matters. Mitch thinks you should know who he is—and what he stands for. So, here’s the whole story. No filters. Just him.
Growing up on a ranch in Tucson, Arizona, Mitch Jackson was raised in an atmosphere of warmth, adventure, and hard work. It was on the ranch where he learned the power of empathy and service. His parents welcomed guests from all walks of life – politicians, authors, athletes, even Hollywood legends – and made each person feel at home.
As a young man, Mitch absorbed those lessons in kindness and curiosity, learning to listen deeply to people’s stories. In the dusty corrals and lively bar and dining hall of the ranch, he discovered what it means to treat everyone with respect and genuine care. This upbringing planted the seeds of the values he stands for today: empathy, justice, and a commitment to serving others.
Humble Beginnings and a Bold Spirit
On the ranch, every day was an adventure for Mitch. When he wasn’t helping with chores or greeting visitors, he could be found riding horses through the desert, exploring old mine shafts, or even daringly handling a forgotten box of century-old dynamite found in the mines (the kind of childhood escapade that left everyone amazed he still had all his hands and fingers).
He developed an early love for exploration and a fearless spirit. In high school, his adventurous nature took flight – literally. He raced motocross, dove deep into the Sea of Cortez on scuba adventures, soared the skies as an expert rated “Hang 4” hang glider pilot and raced windsurfers throughout Arizona and California during college and long thereafter.
These youthful exploits taught him courage and resilience. They also gave him a profound sense of freedom – the same sense of freedom and possibility he would later fight to protect for others. Through all these experiences, he never lost the grounding values he learned on the ranch.
Empathy, fairness, and community were as much a part of him as the thrill of the ride. He carried those values forward as he charted his path into adulthood.
Finding His Calling in Law
Mitch’s journey took a pivotal turn when he discovered his calling: the law. After high school, he headed to the University of Arizona, initially dipping his toes into engineering before switching to business studies. To pay his way through college, he worked as a waiter and bartender, jobs that taught him as much about reading people and earning trust as any textbook. He had a natural way of making people feel understood – a skill that would later become one of his greatest strengths as a trial lawyer.
A two-year stint working at Caesars in Lake Tahoe after college rekindled an old interest in the legal profession. Inspired by a local lawyer he skied with, Mitch realized that the courtroom could be another place to stand up for people and make them feel heard. Soon, he was on his way to Southern California for law school.
He put himself through law school, gaining practical experience by clerking for established attorneys along the way. It was during one of those apprenticeships that his purpose snapped into focus: he would use the law to protect those who had been harmed and seek justice for the vulnerable. Mitch found immense satisfaction in fighting for injured consumers and their families – people in need of a voice and an advocate.
Building a Practice on Empathy and Justice
In 1986, armed with a law degree and an unwavering drive, Mitch hung out his own shingle as a fresh California attorney. Rather than join an existing firm, he founded his own practice right from the start. It was a gutsy move for a young lawyer, but he was fueled by a clear mission. He wanted to build a law firm guided by the same principles that shaped him on the ranch: empathy, integrity, and service.
Focusing on litigation and trial work involving matters of business litigation, personal injury and wrongful death cases, Mitch dedicated himself to standing up for people and business owners facing the toughest times of their lives. In those early years, he often found himself as the underdog, going up against well-funded opponents and big corporations in court. But he thrived in that role. He enjoyed trying to make complex legal issues relatable and connecting with juries on a human level. One case at a time, he learned that a lawyer driven by compassion and fairness could prevail, even against the odds.
By always putting his clients first and treating them like family, his young firm began to earn a reputation for both heartfelt service and courtroom excellence. It wasn’t long before his wife, Lisa Wilson – whom he met in law school – joined him in practice. They had fallen in love through late-night study sessions and big dreams of making a difference.
After they married, Lisa and Mitch became partners in every sense, building Jackson & Wilson, Inc. together. Their law firm was more than just a business; it was a shared calling. With Lisa by his side, Mitch spent the next three decades fighting for justice for thousands of individuals, families, and small businesses. Every client who walked through their door was treated with care, honesty, and respect. Together, they nurtured a values-driven practice that felt like an extension of their family.
Excellence in the Courtroom
Mitch soon became known as a trial lawyer who truly delivers for his clients. Over the years, he has taken on more than 70 jury trials, securing numerous multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements that helped victims rebuild their lives. Each trial was its own unique story – a story of someone who needed help, and Mitch stepping in to try and make a difference.
His results in the courtroom did not go unnoticed. He earned some of the highest honors a trial lawyer can achieve. He was named California Litigation Lawyer of the Year, an award given to attorneys who achieve exceptional results and shape the legal landscape. He was also recognized as Orange County Trial Lawyer of the Year, following a particularly challenging wrongful death case that few thought his clients and he could win—but they did.
These accolades, while gratifying, were never the end goal for Mitch. They were simply a byproduct of doing the work he believed in. For him, the real victories were in seeing justice served and knowing that his clients’ voices were heard loud and clear. Mitch’s law practice achieved a level of esteem that reflected its founder’s values.
Jackson & Wilson, Inc. earned a coveted spot in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers – a distinction reserved for the top few percent of law firms in the country. Fellow attorneys consistently rated him at the top of his field with an “AV” rating that is tops for ability and ethics, and clients came to trust that if Mitch was on their side, they had a formidable advocate who would not rest until a fair outcome was achieved.
Despite his many courtroom successes, Mitch has remained approachable and grounded. Colleagues and clients describe him not just as a formidable litigator, but as a good man – someone who can be tough when needed, but who never loses sight of compassion and fairness.
Pioneering New Paths: From Courtroom to Technology and Cyberspace
What truly sets Mitch apart is how he’s blended traditional courtroom excellence with a fearless embrace of innovation. While winning trials and earning respect in the courthouse, he was also peeking around the corner at the future.
Early on, he saw the potential of technology to amplify his message and help more people. Long before the internet and livestreaming video became mainstream, Mitch was one of the first lawyers to use a website and then eventually, live video, to demystify the law. He would hop onto emerging platforms to share legal tips, explain court rulings, and even give the public a real-time window into important cases – all in plain, accessible language. His forward-thinking approach earned him a nickname: “The Livestreaming Lawyer.”
But he didn’t stop at video. As technology evolved, so did his toolkit. Mitch became an early adopter of social media and digital communication, viewing them as extensions of the town hall conversations he’d seen on the ranch. If empathy and connection were his guides, then new tech was simply a new way to reach people where they were.
In recent years, he’s dived head-first into cutting-edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Web3, and the Metaverse. Where many in his field might be skeptical or slow to adapt, Mitch sees opportunity. He’s excited about how these innovations can make legal services more efficient and more engaging.
For example, he’s explored how virtual reality could reimagine courtroom presentations, or how blockchain might secure evidence. He’s even authored ten forward-looking books for professionals, sharing insights on how AI and the metaverse will change the way we all do business. Through every leap, Mitch finds a way to tie new tools back to his core mission – helping people and delivering justice.
One example of this is how he transformed the age-old practice of mediation. Anticipating the need for more flexible dispute resolution, Mitch launched a private mediation service via live video well before remote work became commonplace. Using Zoom and other online platforms, he began helping parties settle disputes from the comfort of their own homes or offices. This innovation saved clients time, travel, and stress, and proved especially invaluable for resolving conflicts during the pandemic.
His willingness to adapt meant that even when the world came to a standstill, justice didn’t have to wait. Mitch has been told that because he’s blended the wisdom of experience with an open-minded curiosity, he’s built a bridge between the classic art of trial advocacy and the dynamic future of technology. It’s a balance of tradition and progress – always grounded in the question, “How can this help people more effectively?”
Thought Leadership and Mentorship
Beyond handling cases, Mitch Jackson has emerged as a true thought leader in the legal community and beyond. He realized that sharing what he knows – whether about law, business, technology, or life – is another way to serve. He became an author and a speaker not to boast, but to teach and inspire others.
Over the years, he’s written books distilling his expertise for a broader audience. From guides on mastering social media for professionals to handbooks on navigating the brave new world of Web3 and AI, his writing always comes from a place of wanting others to succeed. His books, talks, and articles have a common thread: they break down complex topics into approachable insights, with a warmth and humor that make you feel like you’re hearing from a trusted friend.
As a speaker, Mitch brings value to the stage with energy and authenticity. He’s delivered keynote presentations to business and legal groups across the country. Notably, he’s twice stepped onto the main stage at Tony Robbins’s Business Mastery events, speaking to thousands of entrepreneurs and leaders about the intersection of law, business, and technology.
Standing in front of small and large audiences, he doesn’t preach; he connects. He shares stories – some from the courtroom, some from the ranch – that illuminate principles of leadership, communication, and doing the right thing. His presence is down-to-earth, often funny, and always insightful. People walk away not just with new knowledge, but feeling empowered to take action in their own ventures.
Mentorship is another chapter of Mitch’s leadership outside the courtroom. He remembers the mentors who guided him and is passionate about paying it forward. Whether formally or informally, he’s mentored young lawyers, law students, and even business owners who seek his advice. He’s the kind of person who will take the time to encourage an aspiring attorney after a local bar meeting or offer practical advice to a peer struggling with a tough case.
He also channels his mentoring spirit into online communities. Through webinars, live Q&A sessions, and his active presence on social media, he makes himself available to answer questions and support others. His approachability and generosity have made him a respected figure not just as a lawyer’s lawyer, but as a friend and guide to many who are navigating their own business and professional paths.
In everything he does, Mitch leads with the mindset that success is better when it’s shared. He and Lisa cultivated a firm culture where younger attorneys and staff are nurtured and everyone’s ideas are valued. And at home, they raised two children, Alexandra and Garrett, encouraging them to pursue their passions (which turned out to be law and business, respectively) with the same integrity and drive that Mitch and Lisa bring to work each day. The Jackson family story is, at its heart, about lifting each other up and making a positive impact in whatever you do.
Championing Truth with “Uncensored Objection”
As the years went by, Mitch saw a world growing more chaotic and noisy. The rise of the internet and social media brought many voices into the public square – but also a lot of misinformation and shouting that drowned out truth and civility. He felt a familiar fire in his belly, the same one that drove him to stand up in court for what’s right.
He knew he had more to contribute beyond the courtroom, especially when it came to defending the principles of truth, justice, and freedom of expression. In response, he launched a passion project: a Substack newsletter called Uncensored Objection. This platform became his microphone in the modern media landscape, a place where he could cut through the noise and speak from the heart as a concerned citizen and seasoned lawyer.
In Uncensored Objection, Mitch shares unfiltered commentary on breaking issues and political events, always through the lens of his 30+ years of legal experience and his unwavering moral compass. His commentary is hard-hitting when it needs to be, but it’s not about partisan politics or shouting down others – it’s about clarity and accountability. He believes that everyone deserves the truth, even when the truth is uncomfortable.
His writings challenge leaders to act with integrity and urge ordinary people to stay informed and engaged. What makes Uncensored Objection special is the passion behind it. You can sense Mitch’s devotion to core American values like fairness, equality and freedom in every post. He often writes about the importance of protecting the rights that allow each person to chase their own version of the American Dream – the same rights that let a kid from a guest ranch grow up to become a voice for others.
Mitch believes that the fight for justice doesn’t only happen in a courtroom; it happens in our communities, in our conversations, and in our willingness to speak up when something isn’t right. For him, launching this platform was an extension of what he’s always done. Just as he stands before a jury to separate fact from fiction and champion the truth for his client, he now also stands before his readers to do the same for his country and community.
Through Uncensored Objection, he aims to inform and empower. He shares insights on the legal system and government, calls out corruption or dishonesty when he sees it, and reminds his readers that their voice matters. In a time when it’s easy to feel powerless or cynical, Mitch offers a rallying message: don’t give up on the principles that define us – fairness, honesty, freedom – instead, engage with them more deeply.
An Invitation to Stand for Something Greater
Mitch’s journey from the sun-baked trails of Tucson to the halls of California justice is more than an inspiring success story. It’s a testament to what a person can achieve when they hold tight to their values and dare to innovate.
At every step, he’s chosen to stand for something greater than himself – whether it was a young man making guests feel welcome, a lawyer fighting for a client’s day in court, or a community leader insisting on truth in the public arena. His story is proof that empathy can be a strength, that doing the right thing can lead to great success, and that one person’s voice can indeed make a difference.
Now, Mitch extends an open invitation. He invites the reader to be part of the next chapter. Connect with him on Substack. Engage in the conversations that matter, and don’t hesitate to share articles and raise your own voice for the causes of fairness, justice, and freedom.
In Mitch’s view, we all share a responsibility to look out for one another and uphold the values that make our communities strong. He encourages each of us to carry forward the spirit of service in our own lives – to help a neighbor, mentor someone following in our footsteps, or simply listen with an open heart to those who feel unheard.
So here’s the invitation – to join Mitch in this mission, to connect, to participate, and to add your voice. In the end, his story isn’t just about one man’s journey. It’s about all of us – about the power of living by our values and the change we can create when we come together with purpose and heart.
