It's Time To Ignore, Delete and Block MAGA
I stopped trying to reason with them a long time ago—best decision ever. If you’re still wasting energy on people committed to misunderstanding you, today’s a good day to walk away.
“Every time I ignore MAGA bait, I take back control—of my time, my focus, and my energy. Starving their chaos is how we rebuild clarity and momentum." —Mitch Jackson, Esq.
I believe in facts. I believe in evidence. I believe in reasoned argument and spirited debate. But I also believe in knowing when to walk away, and I’m telling you right now: the time to walk away from MAGA is long overdue.
We’ve been debating them since 2016. We’ve listened. We’ve argued. We’ve given them the benefit of the doubt. We’ve watched as they twisted facts, shouted over truth, and manipulated our Constitution into something barely recognizable. And where has that gotten us?
Donald Trump is president again in 2025. And what’s left of the MAGA movement isn’t some curious political experiment—it’s a threat. Not just to democracy. Not just to facts. But to decency, law, order, and the very idea of America as a country of shared values. And if you’re still supporting this after everything we’ve seen, after the insurrection, the pardons, the attacks on judges, journalists, and immigrants, then you’re not confused. You’re complicit.
So no, I’m not giving them space anymore.
What MAGA Really Stands For
Here’s what MAGA really stands for, in my view: Manipulate. Agitate. Grift. Abandon.
That’s the entire playbook. They manipulate the truth until it breaks, agitate just to keep people angry and distracted, grift the base for every last dollar, and abandon the very country they claim to love.
It’s also no longer a political movement. MAGA is a white nationalist, authoritarian crusade wearing the mask of patriotism.
It thrives on fear, resentment, and the toxic fantasy of a country that only works for some, not all. It rejects diversity, mocks inclusion, and cheers for strongman rule over constitutional law. This isn’t about jobs or values, it’s about control. Control through division. Control through chaos. And if we don’t call it what it is and shove it, loudly and unapologetically, out of the mainstream, it will keep growing.
We need to push Trump’s agenda to the fringe where it belongs, strip it of legitimacy, and bury it six feet under. Not with violence, but with truth, votes, and courage. Because you don’t reason with fascism. You stop it. Cold.
No More Debates With the Delusional
There’s no good-faith argument left with MAGA. If someone is still in that camp in 2025, they’ve had every chance to see the truth, and they’ve chosen not to. They’re not missing the facts. They’re avoiding them. They’re not asking questions. They’re spreading lies. They’re not looking for discussion. They’re looking to dominate.
Deleting their comments and blocking them isn’t about silencing disagreement. It’s about protecting your sanity and preserving the energy we need to actually fix things. You don’t argue with people who insist the sky is green while it rains on your head. You open your umbrella and move on.
MAGA Doesn’t Deserve the Oxygen
We have real work to do. The last thing we need is to keep handing MAGA supporters the microphone in our feeds, our comments, or our lives. These aren’t just political disagreements anymore. This is a movement built on denial, grievance, and resentment. They’re not showing up to learn or listen. They’re here to bait, distract, distort, and divide.
So here’s what I’m doing—and what I urge you to do:
Block them. Mute them. Ignore. Unfollow. Delete.
Treat their noise like spam, because that’s what it is.
We’re Not Trying to Win Them Over—We’re Moving On
If you voted for someone other than Trump or, are one of the 90 million eligible voters who didn’t cast a ballot in 2024, you’re who I care about. You’re who I’m talking to now. Because you matter. And your vote matters.
I believe our future doesn’t depend on converting MAGA diehards. It depends on waking up the decent, frustrated, disillusioned people who’ve felt powerless for far too long. The ones who see the chaos and wonder if their vote will ever matter again. It will, if you use it.
We can’t waste another minute trying to convince people who have no interest in truth or country. Our fight is not with those who choose delusion. Our fight is to build a coalition of Americans who still believe in facts, law, fairness, decency, and the Constitution.
Trump Isn’t the Cause, He’s the Symptom
What worries me most isn’t just Trump. It’s what he’s normalized. Open cruelty. Abuse of power. A complete disregard for democratic institutions. His policies are hurting our economy. His rhetoric is shredding our alliances. His administration is a slow-motion wrecking ball, and we’re the ones left cleaning up the rubble.
We don’t need more think pieces on why MAGA folks feel “left behind.” We need to deal with the reality that some people are so addicted to grievance and resentment that they’re willing to burn the whole country down just to feel in control again.
My Final Words: Let MAGA Go
We’re not saving them. That’s not our job. Our job is to save democracy for everyone else.
So be done with them. Seriously. Let them spiral in their echo chambers while we organize, vote, and rebuild what they’re trying to destroy. Let them scream into the void while we talk to our neighbors, help register new voters, and push for leaders who actually give a damn about this country.
Because I’m not spending another second arguing with someone who looks at this mess and still thinks Trump is the answer.
They’ve had their chance.
We’re done.
And now, we get to work.

Thank you for reading, sharing and caring.
This post is free, but building a future rooted in truth and democracy takes real investment. If you’re as tired of MAGA as I am and, my work speaks to you, consider supporting—because independent journalism that actually gives a damn is worth backing.
I actually used to debate and argue with MAGAts, but I have found it a waste of my energy as they have no interest in the truth or reality. Block and Delete all of them all.
I’ve had to block several people just this week, trying not to make the final jab. Too much negative energy. I’m glad you are taking the lead with these suggestions.
